The Experience

Guatemala 2010
Wow. Absolutely stunning isn't it? And people wonder why I fell in love so fast. Joyabaj, Guatemala is beautiful. From the ground to the people. People always ask, "Why do you do love missions so much?" Welp... Hears your answer!
I don't know about you but, I have a God that unconditionally loves all of his creation. He is so big and so mighty and all of my joy and strength comes from him. He loves me no matter what mistakes I make. He is ALWAYS there for me to come back to. My God treats me as though I was the prettiest girl on the face of the earth. He finds me beautiful from the inside out. And that goes for all of us. He is so amazing. With that being said, when I see someone lost, and confused. Someone who is all out of love and cannot see any hope. Someone who is letting the sin of death take the best of them, my heart breaks!
I wish I could stand up in front of the whole wide world and tell everybody that God is the only way. I wish I could tell them what he did for them. God's love NEEDS to be spread throughout the entire world! His love is too great to keep it all to ourselves. There is people out there that have no family, no hope, no love. They need someone to speak truth into their hearts in the name of Jesus Christ!
To the right is a picture I took on the way up the mountain to the town we were staying in. Trash was piled as far as you could see. This is when I realized what I was getting into. I was not in Missouri any more.

<===== The kids LOVED the music.

We all bonded and made friends for a life time. I love these girls oh so much. =============>
<====== Oh Ereec. He was the cutest little boy. If I had a choice I would have taken him home with me as soon as I could. He was my little buddy the whole week we were there. He makes my heart smile.
Sadly I never learned this little girls name but she followed us all week. I saw her everywhere we went. She was always smiling. =========>

<====== LOVED these girls. The three little ones cried our last day there. So did I. They, along with all of the other kiddos, touched my heart.
Anyone that went on the trip met Goustas! He was so sweet. He wrote my friend Jessie a letter and said "you have captured my heart" Haha. Probably the sweetest love letter she may ever get and it was from a 5 year old. =========================>
<========= Along with having fun and playing with the kids, we worked really hard that week.
Carrie and I. I love her so much. Another little buddy of mine. So tender hearted. ================>

That is only a little fraction of my experience there. I cannot wait until Trip 2012! God has great things planned for his people.
